The LOVE Foundation VA is a Virginia-based nonprofit organization advancing community development through leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and meaningful partnerships. The Foundation has filed for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and its application is currently pending IRS determination.

 

We believe that lasting community transformation happens when people, businesses, nonprofits, and local governments work together toward a shared vision.

Through innovative programs, collaborative initiatives, and community-centered projects, the Foundation serves as a catalyst for positive change while creating spaces where people can connect, learn, grow, and succeed.​

The LOVE Foundation VA proudly serves as the steward of Market 5, Charles City's premier community marketplace and gathering space.

 

Through this stewardship, we are committed to transforming Market 5 into a vibrant destination where entrepreneurship, local business, community events, and public engagement come together to strengthen Charles City.

 

By fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for residents, visitors, nonprofits, and businesses alike, we are helping Market 5 become a hub for innovation, connection, and community pride.

Official Recognition & Partnership

​

The LOVE Foundation VA works collaboratively with the Charles City County Economic Development Authority (EDA) in support of community programming, entrepreneurship, public engagement, and the continued activation of Market 5.

​

This relationship is documented in official EDA public records. Meeting minutes included in the August 6, 2026 EDA Board Packet document the Foundation's Market 5 stewardship proposal and the EDA's unanimous decision to move the initiative forward.

​

The same official packet also includes the EDA's Fiscal Year 2027 Goals, which identify continued strategic partnership with the LOVE Foundation as part of the EDA's plan to reimagine Market 5 as a community and event destination.
